5. What if I have my own transponder? |

If you bring
your EZ TAG with you in the rental car during the trip, PlatePass® will not
be used or activated. It is in the
customer’s best interest to call and notify their toll company (HCTRA
281-875-EASY) if they will be using their tag in a rental car along with the
vehicle details. If a customer feels
that they have been double billed, they can contact PlatePass® customer
service at 1-877-411-4300. This can
only happen if their tag was not activated or read by the toll system when
the customer passed through the toll lane.
In this case, if the person can prove that they are an EZ TAG customer,
they can receive a refund for the PlatePass® charges by calling PlatePass®
customer service. |
